RocketPredict

Privacy Policy

Last updated: to be set before launch

This policy describes, for guidance purposes, what personal data RocketPredict collects, why, and what rights you can exercise under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data collected

Email address, username, password (stored hashed, never in plain text), identifiers provided by external authentication providers (Discord, Google) when signing in via OAuth, and the history of predictions and virtual stakes placed on the platform.

2. Purpose of processing

This data is used exclusively to operate the service: create and secure your account, authenticate you, display your bet history and virtual currency balance, and prevent fraud or abuse.

3. Data storage location

Data is hosted by Alwaysdata, a hosting provider based in France (European Union). No data is currently transferred outside the EU.

4. Your rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at: privacy@rocketpredict.com (placeholder address).

5. Cookies

RocketPredict uses only one cookie, strictly necessary for the service to function: the session cookie that keeps you logged in. No analytics or advertising cookies are used at this time. Should this change, this page and the cookie banner would be updated accordingly.

6. Data retention

Data is kept for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, personal data is deleted or anonymized within a timeframe to be defined during the service's legal review.

7. No sale of data

RocketPredict never sells or rents your personal data to third parties, for any purpose.

This document is a placeholder written for guidance only. It must go through a full legal review before any public launch of RocketPredict.
